Her life is perfect except for the shadows of her past catching up with her. She needs to get away before she becomes a prisoner of her destiny. Five years ago, Silny enacted a plan to regain her lost memories. The last piece of the puzzle is Kitty, and Chigaru is the only one who can cross dimensions to retrieve her.

Kitty is not right for his world. Chigaru is not what she expected. They are soul mates, but knowing that might not be enough to overlook their pasts for a future together. I read Serenity part 1 of this saga a few years ago and never realized that Chigaru's story had been written. So glad I found this story. Excellent from beginning to end. Chigaru was conflicted at first but Kitty set him straight about that. I just turn off the hearing aids!!! Total reviews by Debbie Bailey: I've been a big fan for awhile but this book was definitely one of my favorites!

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Dwyer's writing style very entertaining. There was great contrast between the three heroes and, and they certainly kept Anna on her toes! Dwyer is skilled at developing her characters and evoking the reader's sympathy for them. I felt awful for Anna when her father betrayed her, and could smell the foul villain's cologne right along with her.

My only advice is don't start this one late at night--I was up until three a. I'm looking forward to reading more stories written by Ms. Heather Rainier lives and writes in South Central Texas. Her stories offer up the content of her fantasies, with autobiographical humor, triumph and tragedy mixed in. To this day she's pretty sure that was her mom's version of the "birds and the bees" talk. Heather writes the type of novel she loves to read: More erotic and edgy than the mainstream, with plenty of sweet romance mixed in and a happily ever after guaranteed.

Heather's favorite type of hero is the gentle, lovable giant but readers will discover a wide variety of heroes and alphas on the pages of her novels, from nearly perfect to very flawed. When not happily typing at her keyboard, Heather is usually busy corralling her kids, or loving on her smokin' hot husband, who thankfully loves to cook.

Heather invites readers to e-mail her at heather. Total reviews by Heather Rainier: Reader Reviews 23 Ratings Avg - 4. Sons Of Justice 1: A good read, not sure why she wasn't "abducted" earlier or why the men had to go on the mission themselves but otherwise a good read if you overlook those.

I would really love to interview her someday because I have a question or two that are just burning a hole in my brain. I really like Cherokee and her men should have made her a member of the Sons Of Justice, she has some mad skills. I thought it was really cool that she injured her attacker with his own weapon, how cool is that? All the characters were so life like in how they talked and reacted for the most part and I really enjoyed the story line even though is seemed the pace was set on slow motion. Lena's life has been full of hard knocks and believe me when I tell you I am a glad I wasn't sitting next to my spouse a few times he already ducks or moves away from me during violent TV shows lol.

  • I Was Born Into A Den Of Wolves;

Again; Dixie Lee Dwyer took something that happens every day in this country and around the world and put a face on it and also added hope to it, I know a lot of woman out there do give up hope and just want to take the easy way and wish for someone to rescue them like Lena's friend Ariel, that poor girl. But not Lena, she wouldn't give up and she gave as good as she got, and for those women out there who are still fighting the good fight keep fighting and raise your daughters to be strong. This second time around, reading this book I again had a hard time putting this book down and the other book I am reading suffered for it.

The first two books in this series are equally hot, steamy and compelling and well worth the read. I look forward to reading Millie's story again and catching up with the rest of the series: This Review was originally posted here http: I love military stories! Can't wait to read the rest. If you need a sweet love story then this is the book for you BUY. This wont download BUY. Keep the coming BUY. The life affirming selflessness of Kai wanting and needing to assist all those who fight to make our lives more peaceful and secure was wonderful to read especially in these troubling times.

My Earnest Review

Highly recommend this book. Only the best from Dixie! Original part of this review. It took me longer to read this book on the second time around, I think that was because I am reading another book at the same time and I really just wanted to savor the read this time. You know how i is, when you get into a book and you don't want put the book down or might miss something it's almost like watching a new episode of your favorite TV show. I will most likely read this one again, I really like stories where the woman won't give up without a fight, rather than just sitting there waiting to be rescued.

And Stacy sure can put up a fight: Stacy is physically abused, almost sexually assaulted and stalked by her crazy ass boss so her friend tricks her into going to Texas to get her out of line of fire smart friend. In Texas she falls in love with twin brother. In this day where sexual harassment happens daily I think it is great that a writer can put a face on it without making the woman look totally weak and defenseless.

I really did like hour Stacy broke her boss' nose, to bad she could get a nut shot in as well. I'm so glad this series is centered around military, law, suspense, etc. For me, it's like night and day. I enjoyed the heroes a lot and I like Kai. This felt very much like a set up book--one that introduces characters and sets the stage for books to come. Not much action in this one except a little at the end.

I'm really looking forward to Amelia's bookthat one seems like it will be exciting. I'm also intrigued by Dr.

Chadwick and wonder if we'll see him I'm later books. Sons of Justice 5: I enjoyed this story and can't wait for more. Sons of Justice 4: I enjoyed this story and can't to read the next one in the series. Sons of Justice 3: Or maybe I just needed something completely different than vamps, were-whatever's and all the other over-processed, over-done and teenie bopper books that they seem to be in. Well, either those or erotica. At first, I thought it was going to be a funny, cute style romance. But I Quickly discovered that was not the case. That is totally NOT a bad thing, in fact I prefer it that way, I have read way to many cutesy-pukey books by accident lately.

The story progresses a little slow and at times things seem jump from one story point A to story point C. I could keep up, but I did feel a little lost a couple of times, hence the 4 stars. She was great from the first. I liked her immediately. As the book goes along you'll learn a lot about her and her family that she didn't know and ties with other types of para-creatures I've never heard of, or at least don't know much about. It's definitely different and an interesting take on the gargoyle legend.

Of which there are many out there being interpreted by authors writing these romances I have tracked down, so far. If You want to join my new Gargoyle club wings optional , a comment or a hint to a possibly unearthed gargoyle book again, optional: P would be great!!

One can always hope, and I have a good feeling about this one! Or, it could be heartburn, who knows for sure? I had my kindle settings on the dark background and the white lettering to lessen the brightness. It was gone from my kindle and my iPad kindle app. Finally he had me change my screen colors, Surprise!!!

So, I suggest sticking to the white or sepia background. Otherwise you might have a nervous breakdown like me!! One person found this helpful 2 people found this helpful. Cause I would like to know what happens next with the couple.

One person found this helpful. The Gargoyle's Female is one of the best fantasy romances that I have read this year. The world building is extraordinary, and the characters are realistic in spite of the fact that many of them are real only in the imagination of the author.
